TENNIS TRAINING PROGRAMMES AT THE HDN ACADEMY
We offer 4 benchmark programmes but these are then adapted and tailored based on the player’s goals
Sports programmes tailored to a pupil’s requirements and objectives are our signature. Building on the principle that every pupil is unique and has their own abilities and morphology, we determine what will make them stronger with a work programme and personalised goals tailored to their plans.
A pupil’s sports plan is therefore based on one of our 4 benchmark programmes, and then tailored to their goals.
COMPETITION PROGRAMME: 12 HOURS MINIMUM TRAINING PER WEEK
All of our sports programmes are bespoke and tailored to each player. Our competition programme provides the best transition between club and academy (for players playing no more than a few hours a week).
It includes tennis training (technical and tactical) as well as fitness training.
FULL-TIME COMPETITION PROGRAMME:18 HOURS MINIMUM TRAINING PER WEEK
Full-Time Competition Programme
All of our sports programmes are bespoke and tailored to each player. The full-time competition programme is more intense, with a higher number of training hours than the competition programme.
The major difference with this programme is that each player receives 1.5 hours of mental preparation per week in addition to their tennis and fitness training sessions
ITF JUNIOR HIGH-LEVEL: A MINIMUM OF 20 HOURS TRAINING PER WEEK WITH COACHING ON THE ITF JUNIORS & TENNIS EUROPE TOUR
ITF Junior High-Level Programme
All of our sports programmes are bespoke and tailored to each player. The High-Level Programme is a programme that is only available through selection. Depending on their goals, motivation and ambition level, players may or may not be accepted into our high level group.
If they do not initially fulfil our criteria, they have the option of starting out on our Full-Time Competition Programme, then, based on merit and their progression, join our high level team at a later date.
